COVER STORY
Hi, I'm Randi
When I was young, my father bounced around from business to business, always trying to figure out something that would work. I guess today we would call him an entrepreneur of sorts. The main thing that I and my siblings learned from him is that no matter what, the customer is always right. My dad was always trying to figure out what made the customer tick, what would catch their attention and how to make them have the best experience possible with whatever he was selling. I grew up on user experience before it had a name.
Caring about users in such a way as to present them with a product that is reliable, honest, trustworthy, adds value and enjoyment to each unique life is second nature to me. This is because I am reliable, honest, trustworthy, valuable and fun. Hard work is my middle name. I don't cut corners and I dig deep.
I PUT IN 100% EFFORT, SO THE USER DOESN'T HAVE TO

UX DESIGNER MISSION STATEMENT
My mission would be to make sure that each facet of the user experience is intricately interwoven with every unique user, creating a simple, intuitive and adventurous opportunity.
I am interested in all aspects of the user experience because I want the user to have the best experience possible. If I had to pick one area of UX Design that really piques my enthusiasm, it would be user research. User research and feedback are especially critical tools that should be revisited (and perhaps, rewritten) at each step of the design process. Considering the user and their needs at each step will assure that you are on the right track and have not veered off into your own or someone else's direction.
